The KJ4001X1-BE1 is an 8-channel analog input card designed for industrial automation that supports 4-20mA current signals and is compatible with the HART communication protocol. Installation and operation

Note: Specific instructions must be followed when installing, removing and operating this product in hazardous areas. Refer to document 12P2046 "DeltaV TM Scalable Process System Area 2 Installation Instructions" and other related installation manuals.

Remove and insert

Power disconnection: Before disassembling or connecting the device, the field power supply to the device must be disconnected, either through the field terminal or through the bus field power provided by the carrier.

Loop evaluation: I/O loop evaluation must be completed on all energy-constrained nodes.

System power supply: This unit can only be removed or inserted when the system power supply is not powered on.

Rotary keying system: To ensure compatibility between the I/O card and the block after installation, the block must have the appropriate key for the I/O card used.

Maintenance and adjustment

User not repairable: There are no user repairable parts in this unit and it cannot be disassembled for any reason.

Calibration: No calibration required.
