MVI56 Modbus Master-Slave Communication Module (Remote Rack)

The MVI56 Modbus master-slave communication module has a compact data block feature that enables the ControlLogix processor to easily interface with other Modbus protocol-compatible devices. Compatible devices include not only Modicon PLC (all support Modbus protocol), but also all types of terminal equipment.

The module uses a small I/O data area to transfer data between the module and the ControlLogix processor, making it ideal for ControlNet or Ethernet applications where the module is placed in a remote rack.
