The ProLinx DNP 3.0 Slave to PROFIBUS DP Master Gateway (Model: 5104-DNPS-PDPM) is a powerful protocol translation gateway that creates efficient connections between devices on the PROFIBUS network and DNP devices. The gateway features a separate DIN rail mount and offers a PDPM-configurable serial port and a DB9F port.

The DNP 3.0 Slave driver supports the slave implementation of the DNP 3.0 protocol on a single port, which is fully configurable, and the user can set the DNP 3.0 protocol according to the specific needs (slave, error checking, baud rate, etc.).

The PROFIBUS DP Master protocol driver supports master implementations of the protocol on a single master or slave master network.

Regarding the DNP 3.0 Slave driver, it provides extensive support for the protocol slave implementation. The serial port on the gateway can be user configured to support the DNP 3.0 protocol.

In terms of general parameters, the gateway supports internal database binary input points of 0 to 500, analog input points of 0 to 500, counter points of 0 to 250, binary output words of 0 to 200, analog output points of 0 to 500, and binary input event buffers of 0 to 100 events. The analog input event buffer is also 0 to 100 events.

In terms of communication parameters, the baud rate is supported from 110 to 115K, the stop bit is 1, the data size is 8 bits, there are no check bits, and the RTS timing delay can be adjusted between 0 and 65535 milliseconds. The DNP mode is set to DNP 3.0 slave-level 2, and the node address can be selected from 0 to 65534 software.
