With industry-leading power density, AKM™ series servomotors deliver superior performance, while their extremely low slot torque and harmonic distortion ensure smooth operation.

In addition, the motors are easy to install and use, with plug and play motor identification and full band automatic tuning for AKD™ series servo drivers. The AKM™ series servomoters are available in 8 rack sizes and 28 rack/stack combinations for speeds up to 8,000 RPM and support 75VDC, 120VAC, 240VAC and 480VAC windings. In addition, we offer a wide range of feedback devices, mounting methods and seals that can be directly matched with most Kollmorgen servo drives.

The windings of this series of motors have a temperature rise of 100°C at ambient temperatures of 40°C and are made of 155°C (Class F) insulation to ensure their reliability and durability. AKM™ series servo motors comply with cURus, CE standards and are UL certified, further proving their high quality and reliability.

To meet different application requirements, we also offer a variety of options, including different types of feedback devices (parser, SFD, incremental and sinusoidal encoders), seals for enhanced environmental protection, and closed or open keyways, flat or smooth shaft ends. In addition, we offer dual or single Intercontec connectors (straight or rotatable) as well as 24VDC safety brakes. To meet special environmental requirements, we also offer IP67 waterproof versions with food-grade greases and finishes.
