AKM™ series servomotors deliver superior performance with industry-leading power density, with extremely low slot torque and harmonic distortion to ensure smooth operation.

In addition, the motors are easy to install and use, with plug and play motor identification and full band automatic tuning for AKD™ series servo drivers. We offer 8 rack sizes and 28 rack/stack combinations with speeds up to 8,000 RPM and voltages including 75VDC, 120VAC, 240VAC and 480VAC windings. In addition, we offer a wide range of feedback devices, mounting methods and seals for direct connection to most Kollmorgen servo drives.

The motor windings rise to 100°C at ambient temperatures of 40°C and are made of 155°C (Class F) insulation. AKM™ series servo motors comply with cURus, CE standards and are UL certified.

We offer a variety of options, including different types of feedback devices (parsers, SFDS, incremental and sinusoidal encoders), seals for enhanced environmental protection, and closed or open keyways, flat or smooth shaft ends. In addition, we offer dual or single Intercontec connectors (straight or rotatable) as well as 24VDC safety brakes. To meet special environmental requirements, we also offer IP67 waterproof versions with food-grade greases and finishes.
