The 3300/55 dual channel speed monitor provides continuous on-line mechanical vibration monitoring in two channels. The monitor accepts input from one or two Velomitor® sensors, high-temperature Velomitor systems (HTVS), or Velocity Seismoprobe® sensors without the need for an interface module.

The dual-channel speed monitor has a flexible design with a wide range of user-selectable configuration options. For example, cutoff frequency options for high-pass and low-pass filters can be easily (re) programmed with field plug-in jumpers.

Signal: Accepts signals from one or two Bently Nevada Velomitor sensors or two-wire Velocity Seismoprobe® sensors. (See ordering information for specific parameters)

Sensitivity: 500 mV/in/s, 145 mV/in/s or 100 mV/in/s, can be set by jumper programming.

Power consumption: Nominal power consumption is 1.5 watts.

Signal conditioning

Frequency response (without filter) :

Velocity Seismoprobe: 3-10,000 Hz (180-600,000 cpm), nominal value -3dB.

HTVS and Velomitor: 3-3,000 Hz (180-180,000 cpm) with a nominal value of -3dB.

Note: Velomitor and HTVS options have built-in low-pass filters to limit gain at high frequencies.

Filter cut-off frequency: High-pass filters can be selected from 450 frequencies of 3-400 Hz (180-24,000 cpm); The low-pass filter can be selected from 500 frequencies of 24-3000 Hz (1440-180,000 cpm). The cut-off frequency is usually -3dB lower than the passband center frequency.
