The Bently Nevada 3300/16 XY/Gap Dual Vibration Monitor is a powerful vibration monitoring device designed to provide users with continuous, accurate measurement and monitoring of radial vibration and mean axis position (clearance). The monitor is capable of simultaneously processing vibration data from two separate channels and enables real-time monitoring of device status by receiving input signals from two proximity probes /Proximitor® systems.
The Monitor goes beyond the traditional 3300/15 Dual Radial Vibration Monitor with the addition of a radial position gap alarm to provide a more complete understanding of the operating status of the device and identify potential problems in time.
In terms of signal input, the monitor supports one or two proximity probe signal inputs with an input impedance of 10kΩ, and sensitivity can be set to 100mV/mil (4V/mm) or 200mV/mil (8V/mm) according to user requirements.
In terms of power consumption, the monitor performs well, with a nominal power consumption of only 2 watts, ensuring efficient and stable operation.
In terms of signal processing, the monitor has excellent accuracy, with a typical error of ±0.33% of full scale at +25°C (+77°F) and a maximum error of ±1%. In addition, the frequency response can be programmed according to actual needs, ranging from 4 to 4000Hz (240 to 240000cpm) or 1 to 600Hz (60 to 36000cpm), with a nominal value of -3dB.
In terms of recorder output, the monitor offers flexible configuration options, allowing users to choose from +4 to +20mA, 0 to -10Vdc, or +1 to +5Vdc as required. The voltage or current output is proportional to the programmed monitor at full scale, with each channel providing an independent recorder output. In addition, the operation of the monitor will not be affected by a short circuit in the recorder output.
The monitor also performs well in terms of output impedance and voltage adaptability. The impedance of its voltage output is 100Ω, and the minimum load resistance is 10 kω. When using the +4 to +20mA option, voltage adaptability ranges from 0 to +12Vdc and load resistance from 0 to 600Ω.
In terms of recorder accuracy, the monitor also performs well at +25°C (+77°F). For +4 to +20mA outputs, the error is ±0.7% of the signal and ±0.09mA offset; For +1 to +5Vdc outputs, the error is ±1.1% of the signal and an offset of ±10mV; For 0 to -10Vdc outputs, the error is ±1.1% of the signal and an offset of ±15mV.
