• Thyristors can be divided into ordinary thyristors (SCR), bidirectional thyristors (TRIAC), reverse thyristors (RCT), gate turn-off thyristors (GTO), BTG thyristors, temperature controlled thyristors (TT abroad, TTS at home) and optically controlled thyristors (LTT) according to their turn-off, turn-on and control modes.

• According to its packaging form, thyristors can be divided into three types: metal-encapsulated thyristors, plastic-sealed thyristors and ceramic encapsulated thyristors. Among them, metal encapsulated thyristors can be divided into bolt shape, plate shape, round shell shape and so on. Plastic-sealed thyristors are divided into two types: with and without heat sink.
