The design principle of bus board in control system

The bus board is a high-speed data transmission backplane in the control unit of the multilevel unit series voltage source inverter. The CPU board, IT board, PWM generating board and power board are all connected to the bus board. The bus board is a common channel for digital signals and power supply between boards. When the high frequency digital signal is transmitted on the bus board, it is easy to appear reflection and ringing. In practical application, the interference of bus board has exceeded the safety threshold many times, resulting in unforeseeable logic errors.The impedance matching method is applied to the bus board to suppress the reflection and ringing phenomenon.Firstly, the transmission line effect of the high-speed digital signal of the bus board is analyzed, the sensitive factors of reflection and ringing phenomenon are found out, and the parameters required for suppression are calculated, and then the corresponding impedance matching parameters are improved.By improving the impedance matching of the bus board, the noise on the bus is greatly reduced, the control system works stably in the long running test, and the safety and stability of the multilevel unit series voltage source inverter is improved.
